The loft workspace overlooks the two-storey dining room. The curtain is made of simple upholsterer's burlap. In the kitchen I retained the vintage counter surface. Then I added old-style Linoleum brand floor covering but I wiped it with standard-issue wood stain to get just the right orange red color.
